This is a modern human rpg set in Pasadena, California. Here's a little about the city:

Pasadena is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is the 160th largest city in the United States. Pasadena is the main population and cultural center of the San Gabriel Valley. It is the 6th largest city in Los Angeles County and famous for hosting the annual Rose Bowl football game and Tournament of Roses Parade.
The city of Pasadena lies near Seal Beach, which is famous for it's pier that is over 1,000 feet long with restaurants and bait shops on the western end. Just east of Seal Beach is a street full of restaurants and gift shops that make it easy to have a good time at the beach while never having to worry about finding a place to eat or where to get the best supplies and gifts to remember your stay if you are just visiting the city.
