Welcome to Pasadena, California!
It's one of the greatest scenic cities in Southern California, not far from the coast. The weather nearly always holds perfect conditions for whatever you'd like to do with your day. Feel free to spend a day at the beach, go on a shopping spree at the mall or enjoy the active nightlife. Pasadena also offers a variety of real estate that makes it easy to settle here and make a living.
September 30 School is consuming lives everywhere, as usual. However, there are still plenty of characters in need of plots so feel free to post on the plotting board or PM one of the admins if you have interesting ideas for plots. There are also several canons still available so take a look!
August 5 The admins were forced to take some time a way for a bit due to life being crazy. Ya'll know how it is! Anywho, we are back and ready to add more awesome things to the site! Keep an eye out for new games, contests and additions to the canons and subplots!
July 15 The canons are here!!! Feel free to take a look and also be sure to check out the subplots! There are plenty more to come, but there is a good amount to choose from at this point. We have also added some sub-boards under the new lounge area made especially for our members! Keep an eye out for games, contests, etc. Other than that, have a great day!
June 23 We have gained a few new members in the past month and are currently in the midst of creating some new things for the site, so be on the look out for some good resources for advanced role-play as well as some sweet plot ideas and new canons to choose from!

Find all you need to know about the site here. Never heard of Pasadena, California? Well, here's a great place to get caught up on exactly where it is and what you can expect here. It's an absolutely lovely place with plenty of sunshine to keep you energized. You'll also find information about the admins and other general things about the site, including the rules and any new updates. Any questions that you might have that aren't answered here should go on the Help Desk board.

Here is where you must claim the celebrity in which you plan to use for the game so that there isn't more than one person using the same image for their characters. You will also claim the job in which you find most suitable for your character.
This is where you can post plot ideas for your characters and see who'd like to join in. You can plan out everything here and get started on your thread wherever you please. This is an easy way to jumpstart rping with your character.
This is where you can put your character's biographies. Post your character's options for friendship, relationships, family, etc and others will reply, stating their relationship with your character and you will add them to your updated list. See other posts for examples
Fan of water-skiing and sailing, but don't want to bother with the beach? Then the lake is the perfect place to perform all of your favorite water activities. This lake allows swimming, canoes, kayaks, jet skiing, and just about anything else you could think of. There is plenty of rich grass surrounding the lake, making it an ideal hang out for horseback riding and picnics as well. The lake is very large and is a popular vacactioning spot for tourists.
Everyone loves the beach! Seal Beach is a quaint seaside community. Located at the mouth of Alamitos Bay, it provides access for boats and yachts entering the Pacific Ocean from Huntington Harbor. Old Town Seal Beach features shady, tree-lined Main Street, a beautiful beach and pier. Fishing is permitted from the pier. Visitors can stroll along several city blocks of Main Street beginning at the pier and enjoy restaurants, gift shops, foreign films, surf, kite and bicycle shops and a tea room.
Like Italian? Well this is the place for you! An amazing variety of fresh Italian cuisine at your fingertips. Yes, it's a buffet! Enjoy all your favorite pizza, pasta, chicken, lasagna, desserts, etc from one of the most raved about restaurant in Pasadena. It's considered a slightly more formal dining place, but casual wear is accepted as well.
This is a perfect place for an outing. Whether your jogging, walking your dog or having a picnic, this is the place to be. There is a sidewalk that wraps around the center of the park, which contains a beautiful multi-layered fountain. There are plenty of benches around for you to rest or maybe even read a book in the peaceful atomosphere. It's also a great place to meet new people, for the park tends to be a popular place at times.
Mellie's dance school provides lessons for dancers of all ages. There are several dance teams that emerge from the school that compete nationally, for at Mellie, the dancers are trained to the highest of their abilities and their skills vastly improve from the first day that they enroll here.
This is your ideal place to get all of your shopping needs in one place! The Crossroads mall has all the stores you would ever need including JC Penny, Footlocker, Bath and Body Works, Borders, and Pottery Barn, just to name a few. There is a large foodcourt on the south end of the mall that contains a variety of food choices from pizza to chinese food. Parking is plentiful for the mall tends to get very busy on the weekends.
Ah yes, finally. We get to the night life. Nothing quite like it, is there? Ice House is a skillfully designed club with a large dancing floor and the best DJ's around. A long bar is located in the center of the club, containing beverages from all over the world. There are at least 3-4 bartenders working at once, for the place gets quite busy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. A lounge is located near the back of the club where you can sit and talk on comfy sofas should the dancing and loud music get to be a little too much.
Everyone's favorite coffee shop! Get your mochas, lattes, frappuccinos, machiattos, scones, cookies and starbucks merchandise all in one convenient place! It's set up with plenty of space for those who want to sit down and read the newspaper while having their favorite coffee beverage. It is also a great place to stir up some friendly conversation about the day's events and maybe meet an old friend to catch up on life.
Fadó, pronounced f'doe, is the Irish expression meaning "long ago". The term was commonly used as the preface of old Irish stories told by the Seanchai (Shana-kee) or storyteller. At fadó we are telling the story of Ireland's rich and celebrated pub culture. It is a culture of hospitable surroundings, good food and good drink, and friendly conversation- what we call "craic". We are located in the heart of the restaurant district of downtown Pasadena. We are easy to find and once you come in, it will be difficult to leave. We're fairly well known for our "unusual" decor, so come check it out for yourself. Come in to hear great local Irish bands during the week. Enjoy our fine food and drink day or night. It is always a good time at Fadó!
Is there a movie you're just dying to see and can't wait for the dvd to see it? Well, you've come to the right place. Cinema 16 has 16 large theaters that show all of the latest films so you'll be sure to catch your favorite flicks at a time that fits your schedule. The concessions are always open, selling popcorn, pretzels, soda and even hot dogs for those of you who are in a hurry to catch a movie and didn't have time to eat. Each theater has stadium seating with red velvet seats that recline slightly for your comfort. An ideal place for a date or a simple outing with your best friends.
Stiletto is the hottest strip club in town. Come see some talanted dancers make your night a bit more exciting. There are strict rules here concerning the girls, so please respect the dancers and do what you're told. Alcohol is served regularly and there are some items on their short menu that are good for a snack, but most people don't bother eating here.
This stable is located in the outskirts of Pasadena where you can find large open fields with a horse ranch in the middle. This was started by a man named David Bradley and his business has carried on for generations. They offer riding lessons, trail rides, corral rides and sell tack all at very fair prices. It is recommended that you call ahead, but walk-ins are also accepted. The horses are well-trained and the riding areas are plentiful.
Some of us just wont settle for a regular house in the city. They'd much prefer a large estate away from the sounds of the city. Royal Crest Estates contains large housing for the more wealthy of citizens. Some properties are about an acre in size. Some are horse properties, others are for simple living.
This board is a place for members to create their own destinations if you cannot find the right board on the forum. We can't include everything on the forum, so if there is a place you want your characters to rp that isn't listed on the forum, you can create a thread here and mark it as any place you want.
For those who cannot afford the price ranges of Royal Crest estates, this is the place for you. Some homes are still slightly expensive, but all of them are absolutely lovely homes. The neighborhood is very peaceful, but is easy accessible from the city. It is a perfectly wonderful place to live for you will not be disappointed with these beautiful homes.
Another neighborhood, much like Parkwood Avenue homes. Some of these homes are slightly less expensive, but still have a great location within the city. These homes are preferred by the middle class because of their sometimes low priced, but high quality homes. It is another beautiful area that makes a great living space for all sorts of people and their families.
If you can't afford one of the lovely homes of Parkwood or Santa Rosa avenue, or if you just feel you don't need that much space, then Pine Bluff apartments are the perfect fit! There are three different apartment buildings in this area and some apartments are separate from these large buildings, making it easy for people to pick the type of apartment they prefer. Some are more high class and some are made for anyone to afford. There is a slight hill that leads up to these buildings and it is not in the middle of the city, but rather in an area that you can shut out the noises of the evening. Some apartmens have better views and locations than others, but that's to be expected with the varying prices.
Have some time to kill or simply want an easy way to meet new people? Look no further, for Instant Messenger is a popular program for those who don't feel like leaving the comfort of their home. Create a screenname and sign on. There's always people waiting to talk to someone they know, or are willing to meet someone new.
From telephone to e-mail to myspace and facebook and the infamous Miss Rumor's own website, here's where you go for that. Whether it's just some time to kill or you have to call someone and cancel once again, here's where you go to do it. Technology is an easy way to talk to the people around you when you don't have much time to do it.
